Andrea has been a qualified massage therapist since 2011, having practiced in the U.K and now in her studio room located inside "Pharmacy
on Napoleon", Cottesloe, WA.
She has gone on to attend advanced specialised training in Oncology Massage Therapy and Clinical Reflexology supporting women, men and children who are currently going through cancer treatments, have a history of cancer or in a fragile state of health to help manage emotional changes, nausea, pain and fatigue. Andrea does NOT believe in a no pain no gain approach.
Andrea is passionate about evidence-based therapies and continues her personal development by embarking on continuous training in palliative care and Understanding Dementia MOOC course with the University of Tasmania.
Always keen to learn new skills and knowledge, in 2018 Andrea travelled to the U.K for hands on training, learning the new award-winning Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD technique developed by Sally Kay Bsc Hons to help reduce the symptoms of lymphoedema. Andrea is one of only a handful of reflexologists living in Western Australia that has trained in RLD.
When Andrea is not supporting clients and volunteering with "Look Good Feel Better " cancer charity she loves family time with her husband, three wonderful daughters and Teddy their golden retriever who loves the water.
What I love to do is nurture, support and help people to feel the best they can be using very gentle, calming and scientific evidence-based therapies such as Oncology Massage Therapy (OMT) and Reflexology Lymphatic Drainage (RLD).
